About this book
In March 2023 I missed a flight and decided, mostly out of stubbornness, to get there anyway. It took nine days. I have not flown since. This is the long version — the trains that do not appear on any booking site, the borders that close for lunch, and the arithmetic of doing it on less money than the flight would have cost.
